Biography
Howard Krein was born in 1967, in the United States. He was born to his parents Stanley Krein, an insurance executive, and Bunny Lipner Krein, a physician assistant. He attended Rutgers University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in neuroscience. He is a graduate of medical school at Thomas Jefferson University.
Howard is a certified Otolaryngologist and plastic surgeon. He is an assistant professor of otolaryngology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He has also served as a senior director of Health Policy and Innovation at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. He is a founding partner and co-director of the hospital’s Herbert Kean Center for Facial Aesthetics.
Krein was on the Board of Directors of the Biden Cancer Initiative from 2017 to 2019 and was also an investor in it. He has also been an advisor to the Joe Biden 2020 presidential campaign on its COVID-19 pandemic response. He currently lives in Philadelphia, PA, US.
